I emailed you a reply, but in case you didn't get it, I'll post it here now.
I have the genealogy of that Poulin/Pooler family in the Bucksport census.
Ursula Poulin/Pooler age 17 & Charles Pooler age 25 were actually married to each other. It looks like in the census listing that they were brother and sister. Confusing, eh? They also moved to Bangor, where Charles & Ursula's daughter, Estella, married John B. Mutty, who was my GGgrandfather's nephew.
I have a bit of a story about Charles, if you'd like, I can send it along.
But here are Ursula & Addie's parents.
Joseph Poulin was born 23 Apr 1805 in the Beauce region of Quebec. He married Brigitte Roy on 5 Oct 1824 at St-François-de-Beauce. Here is Joseph's ancestry.
Joseph was son of Jean Poulin & Helene Gagné (married 18 Nov 1794 at St-Joseph-de-Beauce)
Jean Poulin was son of Etienne Poulin & Marie-Louise Gagné (married 7 Jan 1767 at St-François-de-Beauce (Beauceville), Québec, Canada)
Etienne Poulin was son of Joseph Poulin & Angelique Pare
Joseph son of Jean Poulin & Agnes Drouin
Jean son of Martin Poulin & Jeanne Barette
Martin son of Claude Poulin & Jeanne Mercier (from France)
I've got most of the mothers' lines as well. Etienne Poulin is my 6x-greatgrandfather. I suppose this makes us cousins!
Now for Brigitte.
Brigitte was the daughter of Thomas Roy & M-Anne Bisson (married 13 Jan 1801 at Ste-Marie-de-Beauce)
Thomas Roy was son of Thomas Roy & Angelique Bolduc (married 3 Feb 1777 at St-Joseph-de-Beauce)
Thomas Roy was son of Thomas Roy & Marie Grondin (married 30 Jan 1754 at St-Joseph-de-Beauce)
Thomas Roy was son of Jean-Pierre Roy & Genevieve Mallet (married 30 Nov 1726 at Ste-Foy)
Jean-Pierre Roy was son of Claude Roy & Jeanne Gigot (of Pierre-Paul, diocese of Paris, France).
I don't have the mothers' lines for the Roy family.
I suspect that Joseph & Brigitte moved back and forth between Maine & Canada over the years. Lots of my Canadian ancestors did the same. Their son Hilaire married Adelaide Rodrigue on 23 Oct 1855 at St-François-de-Beauce and their daughter Brigitte married Joseph Veilleux on 28 Aug 1865, also at St-François-de-Beauce.
It looks like your Mercier family moved from Maine to Massachusetts before heading to Minnesota. Here they are in the 1880 census. Don't know where husband Pierre was.
