I have James Eldridge listed as s/o Joshua and Polly ??LAST NAME UNREADABLE in both Orrington, ME vitals I:185 and Hancock County Marriages:6. Joshua was born Chatham, MASS 16 March 1770. Joshua Eldridge was s/o James b 8 Apr 1742 Chatham, MASS and Experience Sears (d/o Paul & Anna (Atkins) Sears. I have Joshua & Polly with CHILDREN: Ruth b ca. 1797 m. Eldad Atwood, James m int 11 Dec 1819 Susan Warren of Unity (Bucksport Vital), Sarah and John b ca. 14 Feb 1804 m.Caroline Wood and lived in Orrington.
