Was David Smith the father of Sarah B. Smith, wife of Benjamin Stinson? Do you know whether or not there is a connection between your Hannah (I had Sarah B. Staples in my files) and Olive Staples, Thomas Conary's 2nd wife?
The info I have on Rev Benjamin F. Stinson is that he had 2 daughters. Did both of them accompany their mother to Washington?
My line didn't leave Deer Isle until 1930's.
