Looking for information on Alpheus Guy Kelley (Kelly) of Phillips, ME. He was born 19 Sept 1846 in Phillips, was in the Civil War, and died 1887 in Lyon Co., Kansas. His fathr was Martin Cushing Kelley (1818-1897)and Betsy Dow (1818-1895)of Phillips, Maine. Alpheus married Sarah Mahaffey (1857-1944), daughter of Robert Finley Mahaffey & Sarah Godfrey. They had a son Joseph Martin Kelley born 1876 in KS. He also married Ida Pittman on June 1882. With Ida he had children: Guy A. Augusta (Ace), Albert (Bert), and Earl D. Kelley. Thanks so much.
