Am attempting to determine descendents of Joseph Trask (born in 1736 in Readfield, Lincoln, Maine with death date sometime after 1780) and Martha Webber (born 28 Oct 1739 in York Cty, Maine with unknown death date). I believe that my gggg grandmother, Hannah Trask, is the granddaughter of this Joseph and Martha. Joseph and Martha had a son, Benjamin, born in Edgecomb, Lincoln ME in 1767. A daughter, Mary, was born in 1780. In a different Trask forum posting, Diantha Howard listed the following as the list of possible children of Joseph & Martha: Edward, Dorcas, Patience, Benjamin, Margaret, Ephraim, Samuel, Mary, and Martha. I believe that the Benjamin Trask listed as the son of Joseph and Martha, born in 1767, is the Benjamin Trask listed in the 1800 census in Balltown, Lincoln, Maine; the 1810 Census in Twp 3, Range 1 (Kingfield) Somerset, Maine; the 1820 Census in Kingfield, Somerset, Maine; and the 1830 Census in Freeman, Somerset, Maine. I believe, per census data and a few other records, that this Benjamin Trask Sr. and wife, unknown, had perhaps nine children, with three being: 1. Benjamin Trask Jr. (born abt Jun 1793 with death date of 1 Oct 1876), 2. Hannah (my gggg grandmother, birth date of 25 Nov 1797 in Jefferson, Lincoln, Maine and death date of 29 Aug 1891 in Farmington, Franklin, Maine) and 3. Catherine (birth date of 1814 and death date of 16 Aug 1893). Benjamin Trask (Jr) married Belinda Blanchard (birth date of 12 Feb 1792 in Weymouth, Norfolk, Massachusetts and death date of 11 Mar 1874 in Kingfield, Franklin, Maine) on 24 Jan 1819 in Kingfield and had possibly seven children, two being Hannah (born in 1833) and Benjamin, (born in 1844). Benjamin Trask, Jr., and wife Belinda are buried in Riverside Cemetery, Kingfield, Franklin, Maine. Hannah Trask (assumed to be my gggg grandmother), daughter of Benjamin Trask, Sr., married Charles Kent Peterson (born 28 May 1792 in Jay, Franklin, Maine with death date of 21 Oct 1882 in Farmington, Franklin, Maine) on 2 Mar 1815 in Kingfield, Franklin, Maine. They both are buried in Butterfield Cemetery, Farmington, Franklin, Maine.
Any help with any of these individuals is deeply appreciated. Thanks!
