Otis Blabon settled in Chesterville when it was in Kennebec County, before 1830. He had a farm near what is Blabon Hill. His children settled in the area, many of them joining him in California between 1850 and 1860. He returned to Chesterville where his wife Mary littlefield Blabon and several of his children remained. He moved back to California in 1880 and remained there until his death in Santa Clara County. I am attempting to find anyone who may have information on this man and his family. I have quite a lot of information and am revising a book I wrote on the Blabon's in 1983. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
