Wills are kept in the Franklin County Courthouse. Write the Register of Probate, Franklin County Courthouse,38 Main Street, Farmington, Maine 04938. Joyce Morton is Register of Probate, and will tell you how to proceed. Incidentally, the LDS microfilmers are working in the courthouse, beginning their work with 1838 wills. Ultimately, they will be available through the FHC, but it is a time-consuming process, I understand.
