Village of Berlin #6 near present day Phillips, Maine

Recently learned my ancestors, Frederick Howard and Elizabeth Allen, and many of their children, were born at and lived at a lumber camp or small village on the railroad line called Berlin #6, not Phillips, Maine as previously thought, although Phillips is the closest town. This was in the late 1700s and early 1800s. Does anyone have a history of Berlin #6?
