Does the 1920 census mention the name of "Anna's" father? I'm still curious how the author of the book about Standish-Steep Falls cemeteries reached the conclusion that Merritt Thorne was the father of Julie Robichaud. In the 1901 New Brunswick census I found her listed as the daughter of a Davids family. Not Davis or David, but Davids. I believe her father was John Davids. My father always thought she was adopted, so Davids may not be her birth name, but that still wouldn't explain why the author of the cemetery book thought Merritt Thorne was Julie Robichaud's father. I email the author twice, but never got a reply.
