Looking for information/ancestry on the wife of Erastus Niles of Tuner and Topsham, Maine. He was the son James and Mercy (Caswell) Niles.
Her name was Deborah Gammon and she was born November 11, 1802 Cape Elizabeth, ME and died July 19, 1889 at Topsham, ME.
Both are buried at the Haley Burying Ground, Topsham, ME
There were married July 19, 1889 at Topsham, ME and had at least 10 children:
Francis
James
Samuel
Charles
Abbie - twin
Dorcas - twin
George
Albion - twin
Alonzo- twin
Emery
From what I have found there were several Gammons in the Cape Elizabeth area but can’t make any connection.
