My great great grandmother was Susan Ethel Miriam according to her son's death certificate. I question the spelling since I have yet to find any Miriam's. However there were Merriam's in the Maine area. Do not know her year of birth but it must have 1820 or so given the birthdates of her children. She was married to Edward Stevens and they lived in both Lubec and Portland, Maine. Most of their nine children were born in Lubec. Their children were Hannah (1836), William (1838), Fenton (18??), Charles (1844), Susan (1844), Eben (1846), Thaddeus (1849), Clarence (1853), and Freddy (1858). I know more about the nine children but very little more about Edward or Susan.
