Benjamin Bunker Harpswell/Brunswick c 1750
Posted by: Neil Hall (ID *****5771) Date: March 12, 2003 at 14:50:44

I'm looking for information about Benjamin Bunker who was in the Harpsville/Brunswick area at least between 1739 when he was sued for debt in both towns and 1752 when he signed the petition to form a new county.

I suspect his wife may have been a daughter of Isaac Hall I who moved to Harpswell from Boston about 1737. Isaac had children Isaac II, Mercy (Mrs. Ebenezer Toothaker), Nathaniel, Joseph and John also living in Harpswell at this time.

Isaac Hall III named my ggg-grandfather Benjamin Hall, a name which does not appear elsewhere in the family, and Benjamin named my gg-grandfather Isaac Bunker Hall.

On the 1852 petition to form a new county, Benjamin Bunker's name appears with a few names of the above Hall's and their in-laws.
