Rob,

My Browns came from Vermont, the Waterbury-Stowe area.

My ancester Lemuel Brown, his sisters Amantha M.(wife of Joel B. Ireland)and Aura E.(wife of Stephen S. Bragdon)lived in the central Aroostook area.

Another Brown from Vermont was Storrs E. Brown. His father Erastus P. Brown of Stowe VT may be brother of Lemuel.Storrs also lived in central Aroostook area.

These Browns of mine came to this area in mid 1800's.

Mike Brown, Mapleton ME
