Daily Whig and Courier Bangor, Maine Friday Morning, October 15, 1886 Aroostook ...... The contract for buildings for the Foundry & Machine shop at Carbou, has been awarded to G.F. Ellingwood and Co. The location is on the north bank of the Caribou stream, west of Collin's old saw mill, about a third of a mile from the village. The main building is to be 35X80 feet, with a wing, about 30x40 feet. The buildings are to be erected by a joint stock company composed of citizens of Caribou. Work will be commenced immediately as the buildings are to be ready for occupancy by the middle of November.
