Ethna Ford, b. April 1879, Maine Census
Posted by: David Hughey (ID *****1972) Date: January 28, 2006 at 09:52:42

Can anyone tell me if the Ethna M. Ford, b. April 1879, living with mother, Clara, in Lamoine, Hancock County, Maine on the enumeration dates June 1-9, 1900 and listed as a stenographer is the same Ethna Ford, b. April 1879, living as a boarder with Richard and Mary Burt in Lendlow, Aroostook County, Maine on June 7, 1900? The latter Ethna Ford lists her occupation as school teacher. An Ethna Ford, b. April 9, 1879, in Marlboro, Hancock County, Maine, married my cousin, Ernest C. Alexander on June 10, 1901. I'm sure the one living with her mom Clara is the same Ethna Ford who married Ernest. It would simplify things for me if Ethna M. Ford and Ethna Ford are one and the same person. I would like to know one way or the other.
