I don't know if you're familiar with the magazine, Echoes, it is published in Caribou, Me and features articles, short stories and memoirs of the people of northern maine. In their issue no. 68, last summer's issue, they apparently had a big article about the tb sanitariums of aroostook, this one in particular was mentioned "just outside Presque Isle". The editor and folks at Echoes are nice people, they would probably send you a copy of the article. I would, but don't have that issue, I have the subsequent issue, no. 69 which also has many great responses to the article from readers in their column: Letters from Friends. It's a great little magazine. please contact me direct if you need the number or the address for the magazine. maryahome@comcast.net
