Elisha Brown one of first settlers on the Brown Rd., Came from Miramichi, Canada as young man. m. Tally Thibadeou and returned to Canada for Few years. Returned in 1867, moved to Woodland. Died December 31 1913. Chilren were: Albert, Elisha Jr., Herman, Maria,and Milinda. Albert's son Donald was still on farm in 1970's. Elisha Jr. sons Miles and Kenneth lived in Woodland. Elisha Sr.'s cousin Albert, and his wife Augusta Drake Brown m- 1874, also lived in Woodland, He came in 1850, also from Miramichi. Albert was son of Solomon Brown. This is some of info on the Brown family in the Woodland Historical Society phamplet, "115 years in Woodland."
