I just checked my books. "Tombstones of Talbot County, Maryland, Volume Two" lists Major Peter Webb, died 17th or 27th Oct., 1800. Burial at "Crosiadore", located south side of Howell Point Road on Crosiadore Creek.

I hope this helps.

"The Spirit of '76" Magazine gives information on Ann Webb, daughter of Peter Webb: marriage to William Richardson (born 1699, of Talbot Co.) and having 5 children. Not sure if this is the Maj. or possibly his father.
