Tris Dulin in early census

In an early census, (I think 1810 census) I found Tris.m Dulin listed. Itis hard to figure his age. Also in an early marraige book a Tristan Dewlen was named for 2 marraiges. I believe them to be the same family or even the same person. Or might these be father and son? By 1830 "Tressy" or "Trussey" and also Tristan Dulin is in Greene co. Illinois, age over 30. So again was he a son of the Tris.m in Talbot co.? I also wonder where he was for the 1820 census. And why chose to go to Illinois.
Thank you
Maxine Barnett
