My ancestor JOHN M. CLARK was born in MD but later married ALETHIA EMERSON in Washington, DC; lived in Alexandria, VA. I have a War of 1812 record (to prove)of JOHN M. CLARK a farmer who was born 1788 in TALBOTT CO., MD . Enlisted 11/27/1813 in Alexandria, VA and dicharged at Carlisle Barracks, PA.
Does the 1768 Will of EDWARD CLARK list him as a son?
(I thought that John M. Clark was born in Charles Co., MD; but could be wrong.)
