I am seeking information about a Christopher Santee and his family. He was possibly a planter, owned possibly two plantations during this era - Christopher's Lot and Knave Stand Off (maybe others)in the Wye River area. There are records of his land, wills and probate in the MSA. One of his sons, Valentine Santee possibly moved to Pennsylvania in the early 1700's. Valentine is the reported father of John Santee (aka Capt. John in the Pennsylvania Militia during the Revolutionary War). I am seeking the following information:
1. Where exactly were these plantations?
2. Where was Christopher and his other family members buried?
3. Does anyone have more details on this family.
4. There are census records of an Ann Santee living in Queen Anne County in 1790. Is there a relationship here - grand daughter?
Soundex for Santee are: Senti, Sandies, Sandys, Sainti. All official records use Santee.
