Hello - My name is Marilee Michael and my father was a Parrott from Audubon, Iowa. I saw your note and this is the information that I have.

Thomas Parrott b. 1809 Talbot Co., MD
I show that he was married to Elizabeth L. Miller from Virginia.

If this is the same Parrott his parents were James Parrott a Revolutionary War Patriot who married Katherine Smith and then Matilda Tharp. From records his mother could have been Matilda or he could have married a third time.
James died in Indiana.

I have records on this family back to Richard Parrott who immigrated from England in the 1600's.

I am leaving next Saturday to make a trip to Maryland to see if I can find the family lands on the Tred Avon River (a tributary of the Chop Tank River).

Even if this is not the same Thomas I am sure that there is a connection.

If you wish more information please let me know.

You may email me at mgmichael@wildblue.net
