I'm trying to run down a Peter Webb in Talbot county who is listed on land records from the 1780's. Additionally, there is a reference to a Major (military rank) Peter Webb from England from Colonial Maryland who was closely related to the Dickinson family 17th/18th century of Talbot county. Perhaps he lead part of the colonial militia? I'm curious if you've come across any info in your Q.A. searches.
