Thanks for the respnse. Apprciate that.

I have a Thomas Branston in Mercer County, Penn. in 1807. Bought land there. Died in 1831. Father of an Elizabeth Bronson who married John Robbins abt. 1825. Came to Iowa in 1850. Where I live now.

Thomas Branston also in Washington County, Maryland in 1790. !800 in Franklin County, Penn.

Name in various places spelled: Bronson, Branston, Brownston, Branson.

Photo of my Elizabeth Bronson is dark complexion, dark eyes, wavy hair, thin lips, long narrow nose. She appears to be Native American. Thomas Branston listed at times as colored, black, and even white. Some of his children went to Kentucky later.

Was searching throughout Maryland for other possible Branson people. Seeking thomas Branston's parents.

e-mail me direct: scrussal@netins.net

Could use some help and advise on Maryland.

Thanks again,

Steven Russell
Iowa
