I have some odd-and-ends Burns. Here is Patrick Burn that died in St. Mary's County, MD.
Will of Patrick Burne (Burn), planter, St. Mary's Co., 12/13/1737-1/16/1737-38. Grandsons: Dennis and John Burne and their heirs, "Hurry James". If they die without issue to sons Dennis and James Burn, one having the east part and the other the west part. Personalty to sons Michael, Patrick, and Matthias, and to grandson, James Jones. Son-in-law: Solomon Jones, 4500 lbs. tobacco to buy a negro for his son, James Jones. Residue of estate to sons Patrick, Matthias, and Michael Burne at the discretion of my executor. Exec: Son, Dennis. Wit: Anthony Simms, Jr., Elizabeth Smith, Andrew Eaton. (Maryland Calendar of Wills).
