As I understand it, there were a number of Everetts in Queen Anne County, Maryland at an early date. Do you have any information on the parents or birth of a Benjamin Everett who married Margaret Hance of Calvert County in around 1790. She was a sister to Benjamin Hance, and both families left Maryland about 1803, I think to be away from the slavery issue. They had become Quakers, Hance set his slaves free, and they moved to New York, (Manlius & Farmington)The Hance estate a generation or two earlier was very large.Does any of this work with your information sources?
