Hi Joan, it's me. I'll bet I knew his father, though only casually and by name. "Old Mr. Walraven" (also John, I think) was a resident of Sudlersville when I was growing up. I did not know anything about his family or offspring, but I do remember he was killed crossing the street by a speeding driver. My aunt bought his house and lived there for a number of years. Hmmm... maybe not the same family - I just looked him up in the 1930 census. John F. was the son of Frank and Elva Walraven, of near Sudlersville. I'll ask my cousin if she knows about the family.
