Here is what I know so far. Charles Emery Moore, born September 26, 1862, died January 6, 1934. Married to Mary M. Moore born October 4, 1869, died July 2, 1924. At least 6 children, I'm not sure of the order or all of the dates, Olin Thomas Moore born 1892, died 1961, Daniel W. Moore born November 30, 1898, died September 10, 1977, Holland W. Moore born November 18, 1900, died April 28, 1914, Hattie (Voakes) no dates, Sue, no dates, and Jennie L. Moore born July 6, 1894, died January 13, 1895.

Olin Thomas Moore is my grandfather. His children are Charles Thomas, Leonard Vaughn, Olin Medford (my father), Thelma (Thornton), and William.

I asked my aunt and uncle about the name Moses - my aunt said it sounded familiar, but she wasn't sure if it was her great grandfather.

I know that my grandfather grew up in Centreville Maryland. He (and Uncle Dan) later moved to New Castle Delaware so they could work on the railroad. That is where I was raised.

Please tell me about your connection to the family.

Thanks, Janice
