I am researching the MIERS and have found 3 listed on the Tax Digest from 1783 for Queen Anne's County: Jacob, Stephen and William. I have located in an 1880 census from Macon Co., Alabama the name of F.M. MIERS who lists his father as having been born in Maryland. If anyone has any information to connect any of these people, I would love to be privy to it.
