He is a hard man to trace! I did find a petition from a son Benjamin.I know you weren't looking for these but I checked for him at the Maryland State Archives and found these mentions. I did find a Zadock Riston married Mary Ann King. Passed Mar. 26, 1839. Resolution in favor of Benjamin Riston and Cassan- dra Ann King. Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the Treasurer of the Western Shore of Maryland, pay to Benjamin Riston and Cassandra Ann King, or their order, only children of Zadock Riston, late of Prince George's county, deceased, a pensioner, the balance of the pension due him from the State of Maryland, at under a resolution of the General Assembly. Session Laws 1828=29 To pay Zadock Risden, alias Riston, the half pay of a private, for revolutionary services Journal and Correspondence of the Council of Maryland, 1781-1784 Saturday 27th April 1782 Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to John Shelby nine pounds, sixteen shillings and eight pence. John Dove for the use of Moses Morelick twelve pounds, six shillings and eight pence. Zadock Riston fifteen Pounds, five shillings and Abraham Gorman to be delivered over to Zekiel Meek fifty three Pounds, fourteen shillings of the Bills emitted under the Act for the Emission of Bills of Credit &ca due them per Accounts passed. A Benjamin Riston died in 1812 in AA County and left a will. Perhaps he named some brothers. The record is Folio 563Book - J G #2 No 37. sorry, I could find nothing to help you.
