Hello:
My GGGGG grandparents were married in Montgomery County, MD in 1799. I know the marriage register - journal only lists the names of the grooms and brides.
My question: could there also be a church marriage record associated with this marriage?
I know many churches kept their records of such things as marriages and baptisms. And in these records, sometimes the names of the people in attendance were given, including the parents.
Also, would there be anyone willing to research this for me, to see if a church record exist? I would of course pay for this.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have researched my family, but this is as far back as I can get.
