Seeking Eleanor Harvey's parents and siblings. My Eleanor Harvey m Thomas Chappell (b in 1755, according to DAR records) 11 Jan 1761 in St. James Parish, Old Herring Creek Parish, Md. The last time she is mentioned in public record is in 1833, when she paid property taxes in Loudoun Co, Virginia. They had moved from MD to VA bet 1790 (when Thomas began paying taxes in Loudoun Co) and 1794 (when Thomas joined the Virginia militia). Thomas had been a first corporal on the Maryland line from 1776-1780.
Thomas and Eleanor's children were Siggarina, John, George, and James Moore Chappell, my direct ancestor. Siggarina and James married Slacks. James lived with Thomas and Eleanor all of their lives, with the exception of three years.
I have plenty of information about ancestors of this union and am willing to share what I have with fellow descendants. I am now working my way back in the line and need some help.
