Mrs. Laura R. Carroll, 85 years old, widow of John Carroll, died Saturday evening in the home of her son, Walter C. Carroll, at Glen Echo, Montgomery County, Maryland. She had been ill a long while. She is survived by one child, Walter C. Carroll. Funeral services will be held at 10 o’clock tomorrow morning in St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church, at Potomac.

Mrs. Carroll was a life-long resident of Montgomery County. Her husband for years was proprietor of Cromelin Hotel at Great Falls and later was President of the Board of County Commissioners. She was a grandmother of State’s Attorney John A. Garrett.
