=====================
1940 Paul KUMMER 14 was in the Training School for Boys, Baltimore MD.From what I've read, boys were sent here by the court system.
He enlisted in the Army in IA 2-22-1943; dis 6-10-1945.He states he was b 10-22-1923 Baltimore MD.He probably lied abt his age, as he would've been 17yrs old.He applied 10-14-1949 for WWII Services Compensation...to be sent to Des Moines IA; usual residence Marshalltown IA
Why did he go to IA?
