I believe the John Riddell who died 1845 that you list may be a relative of mine.

I have very little info on my John Riddell. I believe he was born 1777, died 1845 in Cecil County. Married a woman named Millicent (25 Sept 1785-31 May 1845). They had a daughter named Margaret in about 1825. Margaret Riddell married William Biddle 7 Oct 1845. 31st October 1845, Margaret gave birth to their son, John Riddell Biddle. I believe J. R. Biddle served in the Civil War as a drummer boy.

I have a letter from Margaret Biddle, dated 1846, to an unnamed sister. It mentions several other people who may be related.
