Have a hint that my NORRIS line may have been in MD before
coming to NC. William Sr, b.?, d.Dec 1834 in Person Co NC. His
son William Jr, b.?, d.Aug 1834, also in Person Co. Senior
was married to a Mary ? who d. in 1840. William Jr's wife
was my g+grandmother, Sarah HAWKINS, whose father was
Ephraim HAWKINS who was born in Baltimore Co MD in 1761.
William Jr and Sarah NORRIS named one of their sons Ephraim.
The NORRIS and HAWKINS families settled almost withing sight of each other in Person Co.
Any information, hints, or guesses, welcomed. Been searching
for my NORRIS ancestors for 35-40 years. TIA
