Searching for information re: RICHARD WADE (or WAID) and his wife, MARY ANN DIDDY (or perhaps DILLEY or DITTY).
Parents of CAROLINE (WADE) MARK, born in JEFFERSON COUNTY, VA (now W. VA.) circa. 1820-1822. Richard and Mary Ann were reported to have originally been from MARYLAND, and eventually moved back to MARYLAND.
RICHARD and MARY ANN are believed to also be the parents of SOLOMON C. WAID, b. 11/1/1805 in PA, and 5 other siblings. Richard & Mary Ann were, reportedly, quite well-to-do, but lost everything and died penniless, after a relative defaulted on promissory notes guaranteed by Richard.
RICHARD reported to have died circa. 1832-34, when CAROLINE was 12. MARY ANN predeaced him, although year is unknown.
