Hello Thomas:
Bert died in Houston, Texas. The informant on his death cert. was my husband's father, Bert's son: Aloysius Phillip Young. Bert was married to a Lela West when he died. We went to the cemetery here in Houston and found the grave site in the West Plot. Bert was married supposedly 3x. My husband Al C. Young (9-23-38-Houston,TX) knew his supposedly 2nd wife, Madge (???maiden name) He also knew Lela. But we have NO INO on Aloysius Young(father of my husband.) Aloysius birth Cert. indicates Pensacola, Florida as his birth. My husband only "heard" talk that his dad (Aloysius) mother "died at birth" and her name was BEBEANNA.
We have NEVER found any documentation to prove that. Supposedly Bert was playing a concert in Cuba and she was an Opera Singer. (family lore ?????) We have never found anything to confirm any of that info, however. My husband would love to learn more about the family.
