Kevin, I found an article in an April 3, 1997, Frederick, Maryland, newspaper listing owners of abandoned property. Joseph and Thelma Chernich are listed as the owners of property at 5800 Edgepark Road. Edgepark Rd is in the Loch Raven neighborhood of Baltimore. The notice was placed by Louis Goldstein, the Maryland State Comptroller of the Treasury. From the Social Security Death Index, Joseph C. Chernich died 5 Jan 1990 while Thelma B. died 26 Oct 1997. So it looks like Thelma was still alive when the notice was published. Perhaps she had moved to a nursing home. I also found an article in a 1947 Frederick, Md., paper that mentions the marriage of E. Gordon Rossiter of Baltimore to Mary Elizabeth Bartholow. Don’t know if this is your line.
