Thomas,

Yes, this is her maiden name. She was born on 7/25/1875 in Lithuania. I know she arrived in 1897 and lived there until 1899. She came to Wisconsin and married a Michael Sneider in Jan of 1900. She was my great grandmother. They both arrived in Baltimore from Lithuania and apparently met in Baltimore. Another researcher found a Anna Kurtenejtis with an arrival date of May 1897 from Bremen Germany on the Ship Dresden. Last residence was Senvalki. I have been trying to find where Senvalki is located. I have a note that Anna was born in Sol so is this Senvalki? This Anna was also 19, the same age as my great grandmother, so this may a match. I have not been able to find passenger lists for her brother John who was born in 1870 or 1871 or for Michael Isadore Sneider born 9/29/870. Anna also had two other brothers, Frank (lived in WI) and Joseph (lived in Washington state). I have not been able to find the passenger lists for them.

Thanks,
Kathy Jaschinski
