The song has died in his throat. The cheer of his presence is no more. Gone the music with which he helped make life just a little easier to live. Ah, we needed him as we need all those people who put poetry into the sordidness that surrounds us! How sad to reflect that we shall hear him no more lift up his voice and sing the songs of Zion that he loved so well! We lay a tribute of affection at his feet. We speak with hushed voices but brightened eyes of the echoes of his songs that yet resound in the halls of our memory. We do state that life seems more worth while since he helped with his music to make the burden under which we were laboring more supportable. God bless his memory and give him to sing the new song above!" 1900 - Name: Louisa B Fadum Home in 1900: Baltimore Ward 1, Baltimore City (Independent City), Maryland Age: 42 Estimated birth year: abt 1858 Birthplace: Maryland Relationship to head-of-house: Wife Spouse's name: Louis J Race: White Occupation: Louis J Fadum 45, 3/55 Ger. toy manufacturer, immigrated 1870 Louisa B Fadum 42, 4/58 MY [aka = Louise in 1930] Mary E Fadum 17, 9/82, MD John L Fadum 15, 9/86, MD apprentise toy mfgr.
