b. abt 1774/77 on the eastern shore of Virginia, son of John Savage V, who died in Accomac in 1792, and Margaret Waters, was married twice.
1st wife: Miss Hester Anna Dennis, listed in Maryland marriage records, in Dorchester Co. on 08 Sep 1794. She was the daughter of Robert Dennis of Worcester Country, MD and Miss ???? Lane, daughter of Admiral Lane of Cove Castle, Country Cork, Ireland.
2nd wife: Mary Hubbell Polk on 16 Apr 1813 in Somerset, MD. They removed from Maryland to Augusta, GA about 1818/19. He was a member of the Medical Society of Augusta in 1823. He died bef 25 Sept 1834 in Augusta, Richmond, GA. In 1835 his estate provided the library with its second major influx of material.
I need a copy of his death certificate and his will. I hope someone can help me obtain these.
