From your listing I have:

John Hawkins LOWE m. 3 Jan. 1788, Barbara MAGRUDER. {MAGRUDER could be the source of the name Ninian because of the BEALL connections.}

I agree with the comment about the name Ninian coming from the Magruder's via the Beall family...very likely. Do you have any more information on this Barbara Magruder? I do not have anything for this person. Father, mother, dates, anything else you have would be great.
