Chuck, Check the Rockville, Md. area...that was Fredrick Co., before the county divisions and Montgomery Co. by 1785 or so. Anyway, one group of Watts had moved into that area by the 1750's from Prince George's Co., Md. Some of them moved south and ended up in the Spartanburg Co., S.C. area by the 1770's. They were associated with Ricketts, Lee, Fryer, Segar, Northcraft and Nicholls (many other spellings) families, among others during that time frame. Bob
