Hi Cathy,
Just started researching the Thompsons. You said Maryland, do you know where in Maryland? There is a very large group in Harford County Maryland. My ggg grandmother was Clemency Thompson of Harford County born late 1800s who married John Arthur. The Arthurs are a very large family and I'm finding out the Thompsons are just as big if not bigger. Both of these families migrated to other areas in the early and mid 1800s.
