Genealogy Research in Maryland

Where does one have to go in the state of Maryland to find vital statistics (births, marriages, deaths)for genealogy purposes. I am researching JENNESS, and there were several in Cecil County. I do not need copies of actual records--- only names, dates, and locations. I hope to be in the area within a month or two, and would like very much to go to where this information might be available. Is it at the county level, or--? Thanks in advance.
