Like I indicated, I have the Sykesville History booklet. I am interested in any other historical/biographical info on the town proper, its inhabitants, commerce, etc. My 4th ggrandfather leased a mill from James Sykes in the area of Sykesville. My ancestor died in 1839, in Sykesville, and the will was administered by James Sykes. The info I am seeking will help me identify my ancestor's role in the general makeup of the town.

I want to know enough about everyone and everything in that time period so I can visualize how things were for my family.

Hope this makes sense.

Len
