Recent DNA evidence indicated descendants of Isaac Coen b. 1784 married to Susannah Keith matches another Coen/Cowen line that has been traced to 1700's Harford Co. Maryland. There is another Coen/Cowen line that also traces to the same county in Maryland (1700's) that does not match. DNA is proving to be a powerful geneology tool, but it is most useful if there is a large DNA Coen/Cowen database. SO......if you are a direct line Coen male descendant, please consider having your DNA tested!! Or if you have information on the 1700's Baltimore or Harford Co. Maryland Coen/Cowen ancestors and their descendants, please let me know.
