I'm also interested in this family -- I'm a descendant of Frances, Miles Foy's wife, by her previous marriage to Edward Harris.

Just wondering if you'd found out any more about them.

You might be interested to know that Edward and Frances Harris' daughter, Hannah Harris, and her husband Thomas Smith, took over operation of the ferry after Miles Foy's death, and the place where they lived is still called Smith's Ferry or Smith's Landing.
