George Baltus Dutrow, b 1720-1734
Posted by: Eva Maxwell (ID *****1898) Date: May 16, 2011 at 14:13:37
  of 1832

Frederick Co MD Land Records- 26 Jan 1753, 200 acres were surveyed for John Dutteraer. On 5 Feb 1755, John sold half of the land to Baltice Duttero, aka George Baltus Dutrow. – “New Facts and Old Families” by Millard Milburn Rice, 1976.

George Balthasar (Baldes, Baltice, Baltus) Dutrow is my gggg-grandfather. His daughter, Catherine, b 3 Oct 1769, married John George Renn in 1806, Frederick Co. MD.

I have searched the books re: George Philip Dodderer “The Dodderer Family” by Henry S. Dotterer, 1903; and “Descendants of George Philip Duddra or Dodderer, Spelling their Names in some 35 Diverse Variations Throughout the United States” by the Rev. Wm. B. Duttera, Ph.D., S.T.D., 1934. - No descendant named George that fits.

Can anyone help with ancestry of George Baltus Dutrow of Frederick County Maryland? He first married Dorcus and had six children; then he married Elizabeth, widow of Henry Slagle on 2 Nov 1784. George Baltus died 1 Mar 1808.

Children of George B. and Dorcus Dutrow: Elizabeth, Dorcus aka Darky, Catherine, Martha aka Pady, Isaac and George, Jr.

Who’s this “Rudolph” I see on the forum... Thanks ever so much.
